Paving Solutions (WA) Pty Ltd has been operating since 1999 with the director, Paul Grimston having many years of industry experience prior to that. Paving Solutions is very diverse in the work that we undertake and completes work at all ends of the scale ranging from Commercial work for some of Australia’s largest construction companies, to the smallest domestic projects. Paving Solutions (WA) Pty Ltd employs experienced tradesmen and also operates full time bobcats, excavator and trucks.
Paving Solutions provides comprehensive commercial hard landscaping services to every corner of Western Australia.

Managing Director Paul Grimston has over 20 years’ experience in all facets of the Brick Paving and Construction industry within Western Australia. Paul and his team are committed to providing the very best team to help you complete your project.
Paving Solutions also provides other construction services including bricklaying, earthworks’, limestone retaining, feature stone work and concreting. With our extensive contacts we can ensure that all hard landscaping aspects of your project can be completed to the highest standard. Our ability to continuously and successfully carry out large commercial projects is backed by our extensive experience in the industry. Paul Grimston
Managing Director
Paul’s experience and the skills he has gained over the last 24 years in the construction industry have helped him to develop a strong work ethic and competitive acumen within the industry.
Paul’s extensive experience in brick paving is second to none in Western Australia. His expertise spreads itself across most aspects of the industry, including estimating, project management and the construction itself.
Paul has been the managing director of Paving Solutions (WA) Pty Ltd since its inception and has overseen the company as it has grown from completing small domestic projects to completing large scale commercial projects across the state.
Michael Keenan
Works Supervisor
Michael has worked for Paving Solutions for the past 15 years but has over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry. Michael is an integral part of the Paving Solutions team and has supervised many of our large projects, including the Camfield Tavern, Kings Square Precinct, Butler Train Station, Terminal WA, Meltham Train Station, Beckingham Train Station & Kenwick Train Station
Michael’s knowledge and experience ensures that all of our work is to the highest standard.
Danny Schmidt
Works Supervisor
Danny Schmidt has worked for Paving Solutions for the past 2 years and has over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry. In this time Danny has overseen our works at the Whitfords Shopping Centre upgrade, Mandurah Forum Upgrade, Stadium Train Station & East Perth Station Upgrade. Danny is currently working at Stage 1 of the Seven Oaks Street upgrade. Danny’s extensive experience and attention to detail ensures that our projects are delivered at the highest standard.
Matthew Weston
Machine Operator
Matthew has worked for Paving Solutions for over 14 years and is extremely competent in all aspects of bobcat & excavator operation.
Matthew is also skilled in brick laying, brick paving, limestone retaining and concreting.

Paving Solutions has many experienced employees including brick pavers, brick layers, concreters and machine operators, plus a vast network of subcontractors.
Paving Solutions can complete projects during night shift, weekends and shut downs as required. Some of these projects include night works at Hillarys Boat Harbour, Greenwood Train Station, Mandurah Forum and Whitfords Shopping Centre. Paving Solutions has completed works during shut downs at Kenwick, Beckingham, East Perth and Stadium Train Stations. Paving Solutions regularly completes work on weekends to fit with our customer’s needs.
Paving Solutions has an extensive range of large plant and equipment including bobcats, excavators, 2T trucks, 6 Wheel Tipper and a vast array of smaller plant and equipment. We have trade accounts with hire companies and suppliers across Perth. If required we are able to obtain hire equipment or materials delivered to site that day. Paving Solutions are able to commence works at short notice due to our large staff and contractor base. Each team of staff has an experienced supervisor and a full set of small plant and equipment that is required to complete each project.

Paving Solutions is committed to completing projects in a safe and environmentally responsible manner. We always strive to minimise our environmental impact by having a project specific environmental plan. As all sites we work on are different, this needs to be constantly assessed and updated. Paving Solutions has completed many heritage projects where great care and consideration for the working environment is needed to ensure that valuable structures and their surrounds are not damaged.
